These winter months keeps us a little closer to home. An opportunity to write, rehearse and get our summer schedule together. Working on remastering our first CD “The WoodPicks” and getting songs together and begin working on our next CD this spring. Shows coming up at the Kezar Music Showroom, where we will be hosting The High 48′s this February 19th. at 2pm. March 18th puts us together with Monroe Crossing. Looking forward to these shows. The WoodPicks perform for Prairie Public Television

The WoodPicks were in the Prairie Public Television studios in Fargo January 20th, 2012. They spend the day in front of the cameras performing songs and interviews for producer Barbara Gravel and crew. Prairie Public is putting together half hour shows of regional solo musicians and bands, titled, “Prairie Musicians.” These shows will begin airing later this year. Keep a look out in your Prairie Public TV program and we are hope you enjoy The WoodPicks “Prairie Musicians” show.

Kezar Music Showroom February 27th

Kezar Music along with the Pioneer 90.1 FM college Radio Station hosted The WoodPicks with special guest Billy Kezar & Freinds in the Kezar Music Showroom, February 27, 2011. This show was supported by a grant from the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund, which allowed us to contribute ticket donations totaling $810.00 to the Violence Intervention Project. These shows were recorded and filmed. They will be aired on Ampers Stations, Diverse Radio for Minnesota’s Communities in the near future.

Paul Bunyan Playhouse & United Lutheran Church

Thanks to all for coming to Bemidji Paul Bunyan Playhouse. Hope you all enjoyed the great music and humor from The Expedition Show, was that not great? Blake Williams has quite the humor, good time. The WoodPicks enjoyed opening for them and supplying the sound for the evening. Thank-you!

The Church service at United Lutheran of Grand Forks was so special for us. Such a great great service, the ever so warm reception and response is much appreciated. Good fellowship, good food, Great Day!
